Alpaca Information Seminar
Join us for our Fall Seminar
OCTOBER 16 AND 17, 2010
If you missed our spring seminar, make plans to join us for the fall seminar on October 16 and 17, 2010. This is the seminar that many current Texas breeders attended to learn about alpacas. It is one of the best deals in the entire alpaca industry! The presenters are alpaca ranchers with over 60 years of combined experience with alpaca ranching. Learn from our experience!
Bluebonnet Hills is a charter member of The Alpaca Ranches of South Central Texas, a local cooperative group that presents alpaca information seminars. The seminars provide those who are interested in alpacas an opportunity to spend a day learning about the animals in a variety of ways and then another day visiting ranches to see first hand how they operate.
Topics covered include:
Brief History of the Alpaca
Herd Management
Facilities Considerations
Conformation
Fiber
Herd Health
Contracts and Insurance
Tax Implications (CPA with ranch tax experience)
Show demonstrations
Participants are given the opportunity to learn in a relaxed environment where questions are encouraged and hands-on experiences are provided. The seminar fee includes three full meals and a notebook full of valuable information.
