Bluebonnet Hills Chardonnay

Bluebonnet Hills Chardonnay has the genetics of many of the past great alpacas.  We are elated that he is now a breeder and offered as one of our herdsires. His pedigree includes Snowmass Matrix, Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight, Snowmass Legacy Gold, 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Hemmingway, Snowmass Royal Challenger and on and on…..
His wonderfully crimpy and dense fiber covers his exceptionally well conformed body from ears to toes. He was only shown one time and the judge easily picked him as the clear winner in his large yearling male class. He then went on to be awarded the white color champion among many really nice white males.  Chardonnay was looked at very closely multiple times when it came time to the Judge’s Choice award.  Don’t miss the opportunity to add this guys genetics to your herd while his introductory fee is available.

Silver Treasure is truly just that….a silver treasure! He has excellent conformation, a very light silver grey fleece with no spots, excellent crimp in all of his fleece, and exceptional coverage. This guy has strong grey genetics with 12 descendants in his background being silver grey or rose grey. He has a great mix of Snowmass genetics and Patagonia genetics.  He was the easy champion in the shows he attended, and we look forward to his first cria in 2021.  Silver Treasure has a calm and gentle disposition, and the yarn produced from his fleece is always the first to sell!  Every alpaca breeder deserves offspring from this great treasure!

Bluebonnet Hills Izer is a handsome bay black male whose breeding career started late in May 2020. We are excited to see what he produces. He has great genetics including Snowmass Matrix, Snowmass Pure Passion, Snowmass XXXtreme, 4Peruvian Legacy, Danko, Patagonia’s Lennox and Peruvian Youpaqui just to name a few. We took Izer to one show and he placed first in his class and went on to win Reserve Champion. With excellent conformation and beautiful, dense, crimpy fiber he is sure to produce nice looking babies! The luscious yarn produced from Izer all sold at one yarn show we attended.

Grand River Marquis

Marquis is a beautiful dark, silver grey herdsire with a very dense fleece that exhibits a really soft, high frequency crimp. He has produced two grey crias, one rose grey cria, one black cria and two dark brown crias for us since he joined our ranch as a breeder. With his exceptional confirmation, nice color and great genetics, we have chosen to breed him to multiple girls.

As stated by the farm that bred him, Grand River: “Marquis has a stunning look to him and his fleece is very dense and fine with a zippered style crimp which is consistent throughout. The genetics this male carries should make your decision to purchase him even easier. This male carries the genetics from Dark Shaddow, 2006 Dark Futurity Herdsire of the Year and multiple true black champion and champion producer. Marquis is also grandson to Rincon Cloud, 2005 AOBA National Show Gray male color champion, Accoyo Peruvian Legacy, 2X Futurity Herdsire of the Year winner. His grandmother is Fortune Cookie, producer of 2 champions. His dam, Dutchess, is full sister to 4x champion Grand River Luminosity and champion Grand River Esperanza. Marquis paternal grandsire is Bolivian Vesuvius. Marquis has it all. In his very first show he brought home a blue ribbon, carrying on the family tradition of blue ribbon winners.”
