A special event is being planned for our fiber friends! A wonderful full day of fiberlicious fun includes:
Tour of Bluebonnet Hills Alpaca Ranch
While visiting Bluebonnet Hills, there will be hands-on time with the alpacas and a tour by the owners that promises to be enlightening and entertaining, followed by a demonstration of carding alpaca fiber into batts. There will be plenty of alpaca yarn for knitters as well as batts and rovings for spinners to purchase at the ranch.
Yarn Dyeing Workshop at WC Mercantile
At WC Mercantile, you will “get colorful” as you dye your own skein of yarn while learning about color theory and fiber. In addition to the dyeing class, there is plenty of space to sit ‘n knit or shop ’til the heart’s content.
